Soccer from the Sidelines

He called me a Jew,

Donny did.

I learned his name

at a basketball game.

I am not a Jew.

This moment is indifferent.

This finger and thumb are confused.

He threw small portions of gravel

at me and the team I belonged to.

Donny’s team wore black.

We all wore red.

After the game,

we went to McDonalds

and got ice cream and Coke.
